great to be within 15 minutes’ walk from santa cruz beach. we really enjoyed staying at salt air lodge.

We loved this hotel; it's a great place for a city trip. This place has a special charm and is perfect for a stay in the city.

Close to boardwalk and had 3 rooms for our large family however I was disappointed in bookings when I book my reservations you advertised free cancellation but 6 days before our stay when I tried to cancel it said I would be charged the intire amount. To me this is false advertisement and for that I would not go threw bookings again .

The location was oke. Near the beach.

The breakfast was nothing. Just Coffee, tee and donuts. That's not a continental breakfast. For ice in our travelbox was a penalty of 15 dollar. The parking lot was only for 6 cars.

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the accomodations. I was actually looking at a number of motels in the area, and I was very worried about how bad the ratings were especially for Knights Inn. There were comments on how "sketchy" the neighborhood was and they felt unsafe, that the rooms were filthy, condoms under the bed, sheets were dirty etc, etc. Let me tell you....there was no truth to it! The neighborhood is fine, the rooms were very clean, which was most important to me. The bathrooms were clean, (but they do need to upgrade the bathrooms). Bed sheets were clean and very comfortable. We stayed in double queen room..the second bed was in a separate section. There were comments about how old the microwave was? So what! It works. Location was great, about 2 blocks from the boardwalk entrance. The pool was small but clean, perfect for the kids. The parking lot is small but if there is no space, the hotel will give you a permit to park on the street. I will definately stay here again.

Bathrooms need to be upgraded, and outside carpeting upgraded.

Knights inn was very clean and a great value. Walking distance from the boardwalk yet not right across the street where it's loud from all the goings on. We will definitrly stay there again!

I like that it was very close to the boardwalk and the beach and the room we stayed in 112 was large two queen beds and they brought us a rollaway bed there was 5 of us total

I would say the parking not much of it you might have to park on the street but they give you a parking pass so you dont get a ticket

Friendly Staff and accommodated the time we were able to get our room. Nothing fancy but felt very clean. Withing walking distance to the Santa Beach boardwalk. I would stay there again.

The man that runs it is a very nice man and very accommodating. I had a problem with one of his workers being rude, but he apologized for our experience. I heard the manager talking to his other workers about it and how his guests should never be treated that way. Originally there were no rooms with a queen bed and a double, only two doubles. After speaking with Booked.net, who spoke with the manager, I was told to leave the request in the comment box of my pay page and they would upgrade us for only ten dollars after we arrived. I think that was very fair. It was already done when we arrived and our rooms were ready for us. I liked the layout of the rooms and they were clean. Our rooms each had two rooms so if you are traveling with children inquire about these where you could put your children to bed in the other bedroom and have privacy. The motel is about three blocks from the Boardwalk and the beach so it's a short walk without having to drive. In the morning there is hot coffee or tea bags along with some donuts. I'd stay here again and refer to others if they get internet in the rooms.

There was no internet and not enough parking, but they will give you a pass for street parking. I ask Booked.net to check about internet and was told there would be internet in my room. I explained that this was an important issue when I booked. However, there was no internet. When I didn't have it in my room I was told there was a hot spot by the pool, but didn't work their either. I got logged on a few times but not strong enough to load a page. I heard others also complaining of the same thing. For an hourly fee you can rent time on their computer in the lobby. I was not able to check my email or make reservations for places we wanted to go the next day from the comfort of my room. I did speak to the guests at the other motels beside this one and was told they all had internet in their rooms and was able to use their ipods, ipads, computers, notebooks and whatever else they had with them with no problems. Their rooms were about the same price. This is a very big issue with most people and I'm sure they would have more return guests if he were to get a stronger internet like most other motels.

Close to the Boardwalk, downtown Santa Cruz. The facility was very comfortable and very safe.

Pretty much just the swimming pool for the kids

Well the staying and over all was fine but the booking was difficult. They wont let me cancel my reservations after one night of booking because my family member has already booked enough rooms. And on top of all that they mess up on my sister in law rooms. so we had 23 people staying in two rooms with 6 beds... all the kids had to sleep on the grounds. It will be the last time I will ever book with Knights INN, and I would not recomend it to any of my friends and families.

they gave the wrong room and when questioned about it they told me Booked.net had made a mistake not them and that they had no rooms left, toilet wouldnt quit filling and flooded carpet when we were sleeping,staff was rude especially when asked for toilet paper told me it was already in the room, staff vacumed wet carpet and dumped it into the shower and never cleaned it afterwards
